Wow I am getting behind again.
Oh the lack of time...Well here is what you missed
Backpacking trip.
This was our first trip of the season to break in our new back-packs and to get back in shape.
Josh, his brother JJ, his fiance Lynn and myself had been planning to go backpacking for a little while and we invited some friends of JJ's to come along as well.
I really don't think the universe wanted us to go that day but things have a funny way of working themselves out. After switching canyons due to construction, road closures and a flat tire we eventually settled on Dry creek Canyon. (Since it was the closest to Orem and the only one we could make it up in time before dark...we left around 5:00 mind you so a lot of time had passed since we first set out).
It was actually pretty fun. It was not a long hike and we camped right next to the trail but it got us stoked to get out more. All in all it worked out and we had a fun night.
I forgot to take a picture of the campsite. It was pretty cozy and comfortable.
This was the hike out. There was a really pretty view at the top.

What a lucky girl you are, having the opportunity to meet all those artists and even get your picture taken with Carrie Underwood, WOW!! It looks like you have been having lots of very fun times. We can't wait to see you both at the cabin in a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to hearing all about your plans for the fall etc. Love you lots. Grandma
