Still alive over here. I guess we sort of dropped off the blogging world for a while. I enjoyed the break but I was getting too much anxiety thinking it was going to end up being months before I wrote again (just like my journal), and by then I would be too far behind to catch up. The funny thing is I don't actually have a lot to blog about. Go figure!
I am usually the one everyone else relies on for pictures when Im with family but for some reason I haven't been very photo happy lately. I keep forgetting my camera when we go out so I don't have a lot of photo documentation but Im promising myself that I will get back into that. I cant believe I didn't take more pictures at Christmas!! (Dad posted his pictures online so I could steal them but the majority are just of Haylen... haha... who'da thought right?) Anyways, here are a few that I have been procrastinating to post. Nothing too fancy. Speaking of fancy all of the family pictures we had done over the holidays in Spokane crashed along with the photographers computer... soooo we don't have those either. Major bummer!
The gingerbread house competition.
Our gingerbread house. (I was quite proud. They look so easy to make but we found out quickly how finicky powdered sugar icing is!)
(We should have won... just sayin')
Dani, Jordan and Colton's "Gingerbread house".
Do you see gingerbread? Uh huh, and how about a house? Really? There isn't one? You don't say! (Just kidding guys it was very creative... ((it's still not a gingerbread house though... just sayin...))
Dad, Sally and Cody's house. The wieners I mean Winners! I mean come on! A house on stilts? Thats all we had to do to impress the judges?? We had a stone path and a GAZEBO!! (Im not at all competitive though ... in case you were wondering.... not at all... and it doesn't come from dads side... really... im serious.............................. how much do you think I can say in one breath if I put dots between everything... is this grammatically correct? Ha! Not that I care... because I don't care about grammar at all... right? ).
T-Swift and The Beadles Karaoke time!
Sledding behind the truck
(It was late... can you tell?)
Olive Garden
(I especially love Jordans face in this picture).
Lots and lots of games. Especially BANG!
We all got to play with Haylen
This was Haylen and Jaxens first Christmas
Haylen's Favorite Toy
Christmas morning
The bathroom door wasn't closed so I accidentally walked in on someone. Have you ever done that? Pretty embarrassing... but this was just too cute. Sorry buddy!
Seriously, I can't believe Haylen is already potty trained! How old is he because I thought he was only like a month older than Regan? Does he get up there himself or do they do it for him?? I wish I did that, your sister is amazing!
ReplyDeleteShe is freaking amazing! They started holding over the pot around 4 months after he would eat and right before bath time. You definitely have to be home with your baby because they sort of get conditioned to certain times. After a while he wouldnt go until you put him on the pot and he has been doing it that way ever since. He hasnt had a #2 accident in months. Sometimes #1 if he is at church but still very rarely. He was basically potty trained by 6 months. He just turned one in January. Try it with your next baby. I am so convinced after watching her with him!
ReplyDeleteOh, and he was kind of scared of the big pot at first so they got him a little one from Ikea. It helped a lot. But it is amazing how quick they catch on!
