The 4th of July weekend.

This last weekend was so much fun. Thanks to Josh's mom Dorene. (Thanks again :)

On Saturday morning Josh and I went down to the Hot Air Balloon Fest. We had to be there at 6:00 a.m. Josh's mom was signed up to go for a hot air balloon ride but couldn't go that morning so she gave her slot to us.

I have never even seen hot air balloons up close let alone rode in one before. There were about 12 different balloons. I was super excited. This is a festival that happens every fourth of July weekend. People volunteer their time and their hot air balloons to the festival for people to watch, there is also a big pancake breakfast. Usually it is just a spectator thing but since Josh's mom works for Freedom Festival she has all the "inside" specials. Anyways we ended up not being able to fly because it was too windy. I still had fun watching all of the hot air balloons fill up and then almost blow away with the pilots in them. Haha.
